MRV COMMUNICATIONS to REPORT THIRD QUARTER 2007 FINANCIAL RESULTS on NOVEMBER 8, 2007 October 24th, 2007 CHATSWORTH, CA – October 24, 2007 – MRV COMMUNICATIONS, INC. (Nasdaq: MRVC), today announced that it plans to release the financial results of its third quarter of 2007 on Thursday, November 8, 2007 after the close of regular trading. The Company is announcing its third quarter of 2007 financial results later than it normally does as a result of the factors involved in its acquisition of Fiberxon Inc. MRV will host a conference call to discuss its third quarter of 2007 financial results on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time (1:30 p.m. Pacific Time).
