MRV COMMUNICATIONS to REPORT FOURTH QUARTER and FISCAL YEAR END of 2007 FINANCIAL RESULTS on FEBRUARY 28, 2008

CHATSWORTH, CA – February 4, 2008 – MRV COMMUNICATIONS, INC. (Nasdaq: MRVC), today announced that it plans to release the financial results of its fourth quarter and fiscal year end of 2007 on Thursday, February 28, 2008 after the close of regular trading.

MRV will host a conference call to discuss its fourth quarter and fiscal year end of 2007 financial results on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time (1:30 p.m. Pacific Time).
