In MRV OCS’ continued commitment to providing high-qualityservice management solutions, Zeev Draer, Vice President of StrategicMarketing, will offer his insight and expertise on maintaining flexibleservice awareness and rigid SLAs for the advanced delivery of CarrierEthernet services and applications.

OnTuesday, February 7, Draer will present an11:05 am CETsessiontitled “Service OAM Management and OAM for Ethernet Services.” In thissession, attendees will learn modern methods to achieving efficientscalability and service automation management for Carrier Ethernetnetworks. OnThursday, February 9at5:30 pm CET, Draer will alsoparticipate in a round table discussion titled “MPLS End-to-End: ARealistic Paradigm?”

The event will feature more than 150 service providers from over 70countries in a conference, workshop and exhibition setting allowingattendees to learn all that is involved in the convergence ofMultiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) and Ethernet protocols, especiallyin regards to their own specific networks. While the conference willfocus on cloud computing services and end-to end, mobile backhaul LongTerm Evolution (LTE) and MPLS Transport File (MPLS-TP) issues, theevent’s workshop will focus on technological and implementation-detailedissues in accordance with the MPLS tutorial stated by theBroadbandForum. MRV OCS will also participate in the conference as an exhibitor,showcasing their latest technologies throughout the event at booth #205.

In addition to the conference, workshops and exhibition, the nearly1,300 attendees are invited to join the European Advanced NetworkingTest Center (EANTC) at theInterop Platform, where a multi-vendor MPLS &Carrier Ethernet interoperability test fromJanuary 2012will bedemonstrated. The tests will focus on IPv6 Migration scenarios,advancements in MPLS-TP fault detection and many others.
