Compact, Scalable WDM Optical Transport System
The LambdaDriver series is a multi-functional, compact, modular Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) system capable of providing exceptional solutions for comprehensive optical networking. With its flexible architecture and variety of optical networking modules and chassis, the LambdaDriver® platform is ideally suited for any market segment from Enterprise Access, Metropolitan Carriers and Service Providers networks to Long Haul transport capabilities. The products support different network topologies such as PTP, Linear OADM and Ring using DWDM and CWDM technology. The supported data rates vary from 8 Mbps up to 10 Gbps with seamless upgrades to 40 Gbps.

The LambdaDriver series chassis include three compact chassis, LD 400, LD 800 and LD 1600, 19-inch rack mountable chassis with modular architecture and hot-swappable modules that can be selected to meet network and service requirement. The LambdaDriver all-inclusive transparent access interfaces (transponders) are single slot modules that supports all data centric protocols, enabling businesses and service providers to mix all the protocols in a range of 8 Mbps and 10 GE, including SONET/SDH, Ethernet, Video (SDI/ASI), Voice (E1/T1) and Storage (SAN) applications.
