Partner Program Overview
MRV has always been a channel-first corporation, and our enhanced MRV Partner (MRVP) program provides outstanding opportunities for profit and overall success. The MRVP is for qualified value-added resellers, solutions providers and systems integrators who want to provide their customers with best-of-breed optical communication and IT infrastructure management solutions. As an MRVP, you have the full support of our sales, marketing and training teams to maximize your revenue goals.
Requirements & Participation
The MRVP rewards partners at all levels while differentiating partners with distinct value to MRV. We are dedicated to helping each partner achieve and maintain the highest desired status of participation by tracking each partner's commitment to sell MRV solutions. The MRVP is built on four unique tiers that categorize partners based on the following criteria:
- Sales competency
- Technical competency
- Prominence of MRV's solutions over other partner's product line cards
- Joint Sales and Marketing plans
- Revenue goals
Partner Program Benefits
MRV offers partners a comprehensive set of program benefits. Aside from outstanding opportunities for profit, we go the extra mile to give you the tools you need to succeed. We routinely run promotions, contests, and lead programs. We communicate regularly via our secure Partner Portal, eMail alerts and bi-monthly newsletters. We support you when you're facing technical problems, sales issues, and product demonstrations. We promote our partnership on our website and via Partner Marketing efforts. Some of the specific benefits include:
- Sales and Marketing Tools: MRV is constantly working to create valuable tools to assist you in generating leads to grow your business. Our Partner Marketing department can help you create and customize a range of marketing materials to help you execute events, webinars and other lead generation activities.
- Opportunity Registration: The Opportunity Registration program is designed to reward partners for creating and managing sales opportunities for MRV solutions. Approved opportunities are eligible for additional discounts at the time of purchase. (Affiliate not eligible)
- Market Development Funds: Depending on your MRVP status, MRV may offer access to market development funds (MDF). The primary purpose of these funds is to help our partners grow their business by providing financial support for cooperative marketing of MRV solutions.
- MRV Custom Training: MRV partners have access to technology subject matter experts that can tailor training programs to meet challenging business needs and improve your competitive edge. MRV training provides valuable product, technical, competitive and market information.
Partner Program Levels
- Strategic Partner: The Strategic status is reserved for partners who make a significant investment in MRV by building a solid business model around our solutions. Strategic partners must maintain a high level of in-house sales and technical capabilities with the product (s) solution mutually agreed upon and meet volume commitments to maintain their Strategic status. As such, the Strategic partner will receive the greatest benefits and margin potential we have to offer.
- Authorized Partner: The Authorized status will require a minimal level of in-house sales and technical expertise while still enjoying very attractive margins and benefits. Authorized partners will need to meet volume commitments and be administered through our National Distribution Partner.
- Federal Partner: The Federal status is specifically designed for partners who address the unique requirements of doing business with Federal government agencies and the U.S. military. This program features dedicated sales support, specialized Government pricing and technical and marketing incentive programs.
- Affiliate Partner: The Affiliate status is an entry point for partners still trying to determine an overall fit for MRV solutions within their business model. This status requires no commitment and is administered through our National Distribution Partner.
