Fiber Driver Management
The EM316LNXNM-OT is the Fiber Driverฎ network management (NM) module. It incorporates many new features with Linux-based system software in an advanced hardware design. It provides complete multi-service Operation, Administration, Maintenance, and Provisioning (OAM&P) for the full range of Fiber Driver products. A Java-based GUI accessed with nothing more than a web browser provides network administrators easy communication with the module. The EM316LNXNM-OT also supports secure access mechanisms such as SNMP v3, Secure Shell (SSH), and other secure authentication methods.

- Dual 100Base-FX SFP-based interfaces easy integration into gray or CWDM/DWDM optical networks, able to direct East-West WDM ring OSC
- Advanced Optical Service Channel (OSC) protocol (fast and reliable link failover protection) Supports Point-to-point (P2P) and WDM ring
- Cluster Discovery Protocol access every shelf in a WDM cluster from any shelf without the need for a static network map or address table
