T1/E1/J1 Multifunction
EM316T1E1-XY
The EM316T1E1-XY is the T1/E1 chameleon of the Fiber Driver® Optical Multi-Service Platform. The Fiber Driver® EM316T1E1-XY converter module combines two T1/E1 copper ports and two modular SFP ports to serve multiple functional roles of media conversion and fiber optimization: -Copper-to-Fiber Converter - T1/E1to fiber optic converter -T1/E1 Multiplexer - two-channel T1/E1 TDM multiplexing over redundant optical links -Fiber-to-Fiber Repeater - fiber-optic repeater of the T1/E1 trunk(s) and T1/E1 to T1/E1 copper repeater In addition to the three functional modes, the EM316T1E1-XY provides advanced remote management that allows the CO resident converter to fully manage its CPE peer and their interconnecting optical link.
