The LambdaDriver Mux modules are used to multiplex egress data coming on WDM channels onto a single physical fiber. 4 and 8 channel CWDM Mux modules are available.
DeMux modules are used to demultiplex the ingress data coming on WDM channels on the physical fiber. 4 and 8 channel DWDM DeMux modules are available.
The 4 and 8 channel modules occupy only one slot space in the LambdaDriver 800 or the LambdaDriver 1600 chassis. The Mux/DeMux modules are passive and use optics only for their operation.
All the Mux/DeMux modules fit, also, in the LDP300 – All Optics Solution.
