The CWDM Optical Add/Drop Multiplexer (OADM) -
ADCxx/yy/zz/ww - is a scalable, passive optical "add" and "drop" multiplexer/demultiplexer. OADMs are wavelength-specific, and are set to any number of channels from one to 4. Optional, Using 2 CWDM OADMs at each node in the Ring configuration, , provides a redundant architecture.
The LambdaDriver OADMs modules extend the capabilities of MRV Communications' WDM systems. Using the LambdaDriver OADMs you can create a network topology in which a single wavelength can be added or dropped on demand, allowing an optical service channel to be provided at any point along a trunk. The technology enables flexible and intelligent planning and provisioning of optical services while at the same time simplifying the deployment and maintenance of optical networks.
