The LambdaDriver Mux modules are used to multiplex egress data coming on DWDM channels onto a single physical fiber. 4, 8, 16, 24 and 32-channel DWDM Mux modules are available.
DeMux modules are used demultiplex the ingress data coming on WDM channels on the physical fiber. 4- 8-, 16-, 24- and 32-channel DWDM DMux modules are available.
The 4- and 8- channel modules (Mux or DeMux) occupy only one slot space in the LambdaDriver 800 chassis. The 4- 8-, 16-, 24- and 32-channel modules occupy only one slot space in the LambdaDriver 1600 chassis. These modules are passive, operating only with optics.
All the Mux/DeMux modules fit, also, in the LDP300 ? All Optics Solution.
