LambdaDriver® Fiber Channel Muxponder
TM-FC2M4XFP / TM-FC1M8XFP, TM-FCM8D/TM-FC2M4D
The LambdaDriver® Fibre Channel Muxponders uses advanced TDM technology to transport 4 separate 2Gbps and 8 separate 1Gbps Fiber Channel data streams respectively into a 10 Gbps DWDM trunk port over a single pair of fi bers. This solution provides a signifi cant cost reduction and excellent fiber utilization when compared to discrete optical multiplexing.
The TM-FC2M4XFP and TM-FC2M4D incorporate 4 2Gbps Fiber Channel SFP based access interfaces while The TM-FC1M8XFP and TM-FCM8D incorporate 8 1Gbps Fiber Channel SFP based access interfaces that can accommodate various types of SFPs e.g. Multimode or Singlemode.
