LambdaDriver® Passive Chassis
CWDM/DWDM Chassis
The LambdaDriver® LDP300 and LDP100 are a useful set of compact passive chassis intended for use in a LambdaDriver® based optical transport network at locations where ADD/DROP of selected optical channels is required and achieved by means of passive optical filters only. Accordingly, the non-powered chassis are mechanically designed to accommodate existing LambdaDriver® modules such as CWDM or DWDM OADM, BOADM and similar devices aimed to ADD/DROP selected channels and pass-through the rest. The LDP300 is a 1U, 19-inch rack mountable device hosting up to 3 "short slot" LambdaDriver® modules while the LDP100 is a 1U box hosting a single "short slot" LambdaDriver® module. Typical applications are remote “stub” connected sites or direct attachment of active devices such as OS900 or OS9000 Ethernet Switches using WDM SFPs.
