provides simplified provisioning of Carrier Ethernet services (E-Line/ELAN). Creation of a service uses a very easy point-and-click GUI operation from a single screen, allowing users to define a service, create a customer, add end points, and select the profiles within the specified SLA. Predefined service profiles streamline the overall efficiency of service creation, which is more efficient and quicker. - Best-in-Class Performance Monitoring and Data Collection
provides rich graphical and tabular form data collection and presentation for both real-time and historical views of service OAM performance test results. It provides a highly flexible data collection mechanism, a real-time polling module that supports highly granular performance data collection from large-scale installations with numerous devices. It can also set thresholds and generate user-defined alarms. The performance monitoring provides end-to-end visibility into how a service is performing, and it assures that performance levels are being met for the customer service level agreements (SLAs) as well as providing a powerful tool for planning and network capacity utilization. - Plug-and-Play Zero Touch

It provides startup configuration, validation, and automatic download of up-to-date software versions, device configurations, and database synchronization. uses the common Pro-Vision® management framework to discover and manage Lambda Driver and Fiber Driver™ WDM/DWDM modules including the platform chassis, power supply, amplifiers, transponders, optical transport network (OTN) modules and reconfigurable add/drop multiplexers (ROADM). The integrated transport manager provides device menus for device, slot, and port details, front panel views, and digital diagnostics. - Open Management Access
allows easy integration with the operator's OSS/BSS systems. Pro-Vision®’s northbound interface API is based on web services SOAP/XML standards and SNMP interface. The interface allows retrieval and management of fault, configuration, and performance data. based on geographic or regional settings. With large networks, devices can be organized into submaps representing different locations. Maps can truly model deployed OS switches by regions. provides per-service and end-to-end fault detection tools allowing service providers to identify faults before an SLA is violated. It offers comprehensive event and trap processing including flexible user-defined filtering, suppression, and propagation with intelligent correlation and historical views. Alarm drill down can be categorized, for example by severity, managed resource type, or time of day. Alarm status is color-coded for instant visual identification in a graphical format. - Advanced Security

provides the ability to upgrade configurations and software remotely on a scheduled basis across multiple devices simultaneously. It allows scheduling for periodic backups and file transfers. Batch upgrades support upgrading devices based on a region ID. Backup and restore configuration, upload/download, and database synchronization offer efficient operations and remote site maintenance. In addition, automatic device turn-up process and zero-touch configuration provide significant operator benefits and reduce the overall OPEX and customer satisfaction. - Carrier Class Scalability and Availability
increases application options. The flexible and modular design of the Pro-Vision® platform allows scaling of small networks with few devices to very large networks with many devices.
