The OptiSwitch-F2026 workgroup switch brings performance enhancing solutions to organizations wiring closets, providing a simple, cost-effective method for segmenting networks and complements the OptiSwitch chassis family. The OptiSwitch-F2026 features a fixed base configuration of 24 10/100Base-Tx ports plus 2 SFP expansion slot for hosting 1000Base-Fx or 1000Base-Tx transceiver modules, with a throughput of up to 6.5 Mpps, based on a 12 Gbps system on-chip switching fabric designed in non-blocking, full wire speed architecture. It supports high-speed connections to high utilization servers and backbones or to network center based backbone switches, such as the OptiSwitch-800/1200 or IP termination OSM series.
