The OSM207 is part of MRV's Metro Ethernet modular portfolio, offering a compact carrier-class powerful IP/MPLS/VPLS Metro Ethernet Demarcation platform, with a robust and intelligent traffic management suit. The OSM207's powerful network processor design offers carrier-class Ethernet services with sophisticated Quality of Service ("QoS") and congestion control which are critical at the customer demarcation point. The OSM207 enables carriers to offer a suite of traffic/services with a greater control at User Network Interface (UNI) to reduce the load from their core networks by incorporating sophisticated equipment at the customer edge. The OSM207 is ideal for service providers seeking to deliver profitable E-Line and E-LAN business services, in a variety of bandwidths and with different service-level agreements.

The OptiSwitch Master 207 series (OSM207) is a compact carrier-class 1.5U powerful IP/MPLS/VPLS Metro Ethernet Services platform, with a robust and intelligent traffic management suite.
OSM207 offers greater intelligence to the metro Ethernet Demarcation, defined as a user provider edge, enabling the delivery of more differentiated metro Ethernet services, featuring advanced hierarchical Quality of Service (QoS), intelligent CoS marking profiles, traffic shaping, intelligent VLAN Swapping, Multi-protocol Label Switching (MPLS) and Virtual Private LAN Services (VPLS), and multi-point services. OSM207 is ideal for service providers seeking to deliver profitable business services, such as Layer 2, Layer 3 and MPLS VPNs, in a variety of bandwidths and with different service-level agreements (SLAs).
