WDM22E1 / T1 & Gigabit Ethernet over a Single Fiber
 Combining Fiber Driver® WDM and Splitter/Combiner technology, the E1 and T1 WDM22 modules combine separate voice and data channels onto a single strand of fiber. The EM316GE1SF model merges E1 (2.048Mbs) and GbE, while the EM316GT1SF combines T1 (1.544Mbs) and GbE. The units effectively quadruple available fiber capacity. What would normally require separate dual-fiber links, one for an E1/T1 connection and one for an Ethernet connection, instead takes only a single strand of fiber.
Combined with the Fiber Driver Network Management Module (EM316NM), the WDM22 can be configured and monitored through MRV’s own MegaVision Web® network management system or any other SNMP compliant NMS. The Gigabit Ethernet WDM22 modules are offered with a choice of single mode fiber transceivers, and occupy two slots in a Fiber Driver chassis. Compatible chassis include the NC316BU-2 (2-slot) and NC316BU-16 (16-slot) models.
