Single-Fiber Links

MRV provides a full range of single-fiber converters, repeaters and switches, unmanaged and managed, in stand-alone and modular form-factors.  These products cover all major networking protocols, including Ethernet, SONET and FiberChannel.  Single-fiber links use only one fiber instead of a pair for both directions of data transfer, and so can be used to double the effective capacity of the fiber-optic cabling plant.  MRV provides two families of single-fiber systems, single-wavelength (requiring APC connectors) and dual-wavelength (standard connectors).
